Description

A pair of adjoining cottages dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of brick, with No. 5 appearing incised to imitate stone ashlar, and are rendered with plaster. They have plain tiled roofs with a ridge stack. Each cottage is one storey high with attics; No. 5 has one dormer window, and No. 7 has two. Each dormer has a horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars. Each cottage features a doorway with a panelled door flanked by two similar horizontal sliding sash windows. The windows of No. 5 retain their original shutters. Inside No. 5 are late 18th or early 19th century cupboards and doors.
