12 And 14, Bondgate Within

Nos 12 and 14 Bondgate Within are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings located on the north side of Bondgate Within. They are three storeys tall and each has two windows. The buildings are constructed of ashlar stone, with No 12 featuring cill courses on the first and second floors. They have a shared slate roof with a coped verge on the left side and a brick chimney on the right gable end. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, with the second floor windows of No 12 being smaller.

Both buildings have late 19th century to early 20th century shop fronts. No 12 includes fascia brackets and a recessed shop door, while No 14 has a three-light shop window and scroll brackets supporting a fascia with a modillion cornice. Additionally, No 14 has a side door to the right of its shop window. The rear of No 12 features a round-headed window and a gabled two-storey extension, whereas No 14 has a long two-storey annexe with three brick chimneys.
