Description

BONDGATE WITHIN 1. 5330 (North Side) Nos 12 and 14 NU 1813 SE 1/146 II GV 2. Late C18/early C19. Three storeys, 2 windows each. Ashlar, No 12 with cill courses to 1st and 2nd floors. Joint roof of slates, coped verge to left, one gable end brick chimney to right. Glazing bar sash windows, smaller on 2nd floor of No 12. Late C19/early C20 shop fronts, No 12 with fascia brackets and recessed shop door; No 14 with 3 light shop window and scroll brackets to fascia with modillion cornice, No 14 has side door to right of shop window. The rear of No 12 has round headed window and a gabled 2 storey extension; No 14 has a long 3 bay 2 storey annexe with 3 brick chimneys.
