Description
No. 16 Bondgate Within is an early 19th-century building that has recently been cleaned. It stands three storeys tall and features three windows. The structure is built of ashlar and has cill strings, although these are obscured on the first floor. It has a cavetto eaves cornice and a slate roof with two brick chimneys. The windows are glazing bar sash windows, with plate glass lower sashes on the first floor and smaller windows on the second floor. The building has a modern showroom shop front and a small open doorway leading to a through-passage on the right-hand side. There are also two-storey rear extensions.
