Description
This is a 17th-century outbuilding located to the east of Dukesfield Hall. It is constructed of coursed rubble with stone slate roofing and features an old brick stack. The building has two storeys and two bays, with an irregular layout. There is an old boarded door on the right side, set in a broad moulded surround, and scattered windows, including a blocked two-light mullioned window on the far left. A tall ridge stack is positioned to the left, and the right side of the building has an external stone stair leading to another boarded door. At the rear, there is an old outshut. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the main hall. The continuation of the range to the west of the stack has been altered and is not of interest.
