SE 25 NE NORTH RIGTON BECKWITHSHAW ROAD (east side, off) 1/61 Outbuilding approximately 10 metres south of Tatefield Hall 30/3/66 (formerly listed as Granary at Tatefield Hall)

Outbuilding. C17. Coursed gritstone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays. Quoins. C19 board door under heavy stone lintel, bay 3. Fire-window far left - double-chamfered. 3-light double-chamfered mullion windows with lead cames flanking door. An external stone stair between entrance and window to right with board door to first floor, in plain surround. First-floor windows: far left, square chamfered slatted window, 2-light double- chamfered mullion windows flanking upper door. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, ball finials to kneelers and right gable. Corniced end stack to left. Blocked first-floor entrance to right gable. Interior: fine segmental-arched fireplace with voussoirs, left gable wall. The house has been used as a granary, brewhouse and stables.
