Description
The east gate piers and railings to Moor Park were built around 1859 for James Bray, likely designed by Andrews and Delauney. They are made of ashlar and cast iron. The structure features inner and outer piers that are connected by a low wall with railings. The square section piers are pierced by round-headed arches and topped with deep moulded cornices and pyramidal capstones, reaching an approximate height of 3 metres. The railings are adorned with bars that have leafy spearhead finials and circular motifs at the top and bottom.
