Description
The Offices of the Northern Horticultural Society, built around 1844, were formerly part of the Harlow Car Sulphur Spa and have been altered over time. This original single-storey, double-fronted building features two windows and a later addition at the south end, designed in a similar Tudor style. The building has a slated hipped roof that has been rebuilt, complete with projecting eaves. It is constructed from hammer-dressed grit stone ashlar. The windows are three-light recessed designs with chamfered reveals and hood moulds. The doorways are similar, featuring Tudor panelled doors.
