Description

This is a milepost from the mid-19th century, made of cast iron and attached to a gritstone block. It has a triangular shape with a round head, with the top part visible at approximately 40 centimetres. The inscriptions on the milepost read: "DUDLEY HILL KILLINGHALL & HARROGATE ROAD KILLINGHALL".
