Description

Irongate Bridge, located over Oak Beck in the park of Oakdale Manor, is an 18th-century packhorse bridge constructed from grit stone. It features a segmental arch made of voussoirs of squared rubble, with rubble abutments and a ramped approach. The bridge has cobble paving and was likely built without parapets.
