Description

This is an earlier 18th-century building, originally two semi-detached cottages that are now combined into a single residence. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and features gable chimneys and kneelers, with 20th-century carved bargeboards along the eaves. The exterior walls are constructed of coursed grit stone rubble with string courses at first-floor level. Modern inserted mullion windows are present, along with a ground-floor bow window with leaded lights. A modern central doorway has replaced the original two doorways. The building is included on the list for its group value, alongside numbers 7 to 12, Promenade Court, Cornwall Road, and the return of number 30 Swan Road.
