Description

11 Promenade Square is an early 19th-century building of two storeys and a basement, featuring a single window. The roof is covered with Welsh slate, exhibiting a gable with sleepers and a carved bargeboard to the eaves. The exterior is constructed from coursed grit stone rubble. The first floor has a flush-framed window. The ground floor incorporates a wooden, splayed bay window with a cornice. A modern doorway is sheltered by a bracketed canopy, accessed by steps with a wrought iron railing. Mid-19th century cast iron railings define the area. The building is included on the list for its group value. It forms a group with numbers 7 to 12, Promenade Court, Cornwall Road, and the return of number 30 Swan Road.
