Description
The Hall is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century and was remodeled in the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble, partly roughcast, and features stone slate roofing with brick stacks. The building has three storeys and three irregular bays. The right-of-centre doorway is set beneath a 20th-century half-glazed porch, and there are 4-pane sash windows in raised moulded surrounds, with the windows on the second floor being shorter. The gables are coped with moulded kneelers, and the end stacks have a dog-tooth cornice.
Inside, there is an open-string staircase with stick balusters and a ramped moulded handrail. There is a two-storey section to the east that was altered in the 20th century and is not of interest, except for the outbuilding at the eastern end.
