Description

This is an outbuilding located to the northeast of Stydd Hall, dating from the 18th century with later alterations. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish stretcher bond, featuring stone dressings and a 20th-century plain tile roof, which has a small brick gable stack on the north side. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays.

The central bay has a segmental arch made of headers and stretchers, with a stone keystone and imposts, and it includes double doors. On either side of this central feature are staff-moulded oval stone windows set into square stone blocks. Further to each side are chamfered quoined doorcases topped with semi-circular headed lintels, followed by additional oval stone windows. Above, there are three more oval stone windows. The north gable wall has later steps leading up to a door on the first floor.
