Description
This is an outbuilding located immediately west of Castle House in Buckingham, dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is built from coursed limestone rubble, faced with red brick on the street elevations in Flemish bond, featuring some flared headers, and has a hipped plain-tile roof. It is L-shaped and consists of two storeys with a four-window range. There is a plank door on the far right, which has a wooden lintel and is accessed by two stone steps. The building has three-light casement windows on both the ground and first floors, and there are blank windows of a similar shape on the ground and first floors to the left of the centre. The outbuilding has a coursed limestone rubble plinth, a brick plinth above it, and cogged brick eaves.
