Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, altered in the 20th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble, rendered to the front, with a plain-tile roof, half-hipped to the left, and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottages have 2-unit plans and a 5-window range over 2 storeys. Modern doors are located to the left and right of centre. The ground and first floors contain modern three-light leaded casement windows, with a small 1-light casement to the right of the door of No.10A. There are two gabled roof dormer windows with modern two-light leaded casements. The doors are approached by 2 stone steps and a rendered plinth is present. No.10A has a collar truss roof with 2 tiers of purlins.
