Description
This milestone, dating from the late 18th century, is located 30 metres south of the entrance to East Moor Farm. It is made of sandstone and has a triangular shape on a square base, standing at a height of 1.0 metre. The base is tooled and margined, while the upper part shows signs of weathering. The inscription reads "MORP(ETH) (CRESSW)ELL VII II MILES (MILES)."
