Milestone (Sedbergh 3) on north side of road approx. 20m west of Craggs Hill

Milestone. Early to mid C19. Dressed sandstone with remains of whitewash. Square plinth with chamfered corners, semicircular shaft inscribed "S / 3", with rounded top. Almost concealed by vegetation at time of inspection. One of a series of 11 in this parish.
