Description
North Linton Farmhouse and the outbuilding to the west were built in the mid-18th century and altered in the 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick and has slate roofs. The south elevation features two storeys and three irregular bays, with a first-floor band. There is a central 20th-century porch; to the left, there is a later 19th-century canted bay, and to the right, there is a small late 19th-century sash window and a 12-pane sash window, both set under flat arches. Above, there are similar 12-pane sashes, with the left one being renewed. The gables are coped, and there are renewed brick stacks. The section to the right was raised to two storeys in the early 19th century and has one wide bay. It features altered sash windows with two 12-pane sashes, with the right one renewed, above. There is a brick stack on the right gable.
The outbuilding to the left has a tumbled-in gable on the left return, above a boarded door with a stop-chamfered stone lintel. There is also a pent outhouse with an asbestos roof to the far right, which is not of interest.
