Description

Haughton Methodist Church is a small one-storey building dated 1825, as indicated by a stone plaque in the pediment. It features a three-bay end facing the road, constructed of pinkish brick with a stone cornice band and pediment coping. The central projecting gabled porch has an entrance on the left side. There are gauged round arches made of later red brick for the windows on either side, as well as a smaller one in the porch. The right side of the building is blank. To the left, there is a small late 19th-century Sunday school addition, which has a gable end facing the road and includes a plaque, along with two windows beneath round gauged brick arches.
