Description

Skerne Lodge is a late 18th century, two-storey house with five windows, which has a slightly irregular appearance and may have originally been two separate dwellings. The house is constructed of light red brick and features a pantiled roof with three ridge stacks. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and have been replaced with modern cross casements that include lattice glazing; there is also one modern canted bay window. The entrance has a modern door with side and top lights, which is sheltered by a tiled gabled hood supported by brackets.
