Description

19 and 21 Kirkgate is a late 18th-century, two-storey, five-bay house. It is constructed of red brick and features a stone-moulded and modillioned eaves cornice. The roof is fairly low pitched and hipped, covered with stone flags. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and stone sills, although most have been altered. However, three original sash windows with glazing bars remain on the second floor. The building also has a modern shop front.
