Description

9 and 11 Bull Ring are a substantial early to mid-18th century house that has undergone alterations. The building is three storeys high and has six bays. It has a steeply pitched roof covered with stone slates. A central chimney stack, now stuccoed, has a stone cornice with gargoyles at the corners. Four square-headed dormers are present, each with an entablature and a small frieze. The main entablature is plain. The walls are now stuccoed with an artificial rustication effect. The windows are 19th-century sash windows with moulded architraves and cills. Two modern shops occupy the ground floor.
