Description

Cromwell House is a late 18th-century house located on Carter Street in Fordham. It is constructed of local red brick with redder brick dressings and features a modern interlocking tile roof. The house has two storeys and two tall square ridge stacks. There is a band between the floors. The front has four bays, with three twelve-paned hung sash windows on the first floor and three similar windows on the ground floor, all set in gauged segmental brick arches. The entrance has a plain architraved wooden doorcase with a modern door.
