Description

Two small 18th-century houses, numbered 17 and 19 Haughton Green, originally listed separately. Each house is two storeys high and has three windows. They are built of pinkish brick with pantiled roofs and end chimneys. The windows are replaced sash windows set in flush wood architraves. Number 17 features a stepped and dentilled brick cornice at the eaves. It has modern rounded bow windows flanking a 6-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above, set beneath a modern bracketed cornice hood. Number 19 has later 19th-century canted bays with pilasters and an entablature, and a 4-panel door with a rectangular fanlight, positioned within a doorcase of attached fluted columns and an entablature with a deep cornice.
