Description
No. 5 Haughton Green is a mid to late 18th century house that stands two storeys tall and features five windows. It is constructed of red brick, and its roof is covered with new clay pantiles, complete with end chimneys. The house has sash windows, some of which have been replaced, set within wooden architraves and topped with flat gauged brick arches that include keystones. On the right side of the ground floor, there is an early 20th century bow projection adorned with a dentil cornice. The entrance features an altered half-glazed door beneath an elliptical fanlight with V-tracery, all framed by a doorcase with an open pediment, engaged columns, and medallions in the side friezes.
