Description
Albany Farmhouse is a two-storey building dating from around 1830, constructed of red brick with grey headers. It features a gable end slate roof and a bracketed eaves cornice. The façade has three windows, with the outer ones set in slightly projecting bays. These windows are recessed, sash style with glazing bars, block sills, and flat brick arches. The central entrance consists of recessed double doors with three incised panels, framed by a doorcase that includes reeded pilasters and roundel corner blocks, topped with a frieze and cornice. The entrance is set back from the front, with porch seats on either side supported by turned legs. A notable semi-circular porch in front is supported by reeded Doric columns and has a panelled frame around the opening.
