Description

Kitbridge Farmhouse is an early 19th century building, possibly dating back to the 18th century. It has been cement rendered and stands two storeys tall. The farmhouse features a steeply pitched hipped slate roof with shallow wooden eaves cornice. There are three sash windows with moulded flush wood frames and thin block sills. The central door is recessed and consists of six fielded panels, four of which are glazed, with panelled reveals and an end soffit. This door is flanked by broad reeded engaged Doric columns, with a frieze and dentil cornice above. A later wooden verandah has been added to the structure.
