Description

This is an 18th-century mill, later used as a warehouse, located just north of Carisbrooke Road and accessed via a private road leading to number 116. The building is three storeys tall, with a loft and basement. It is constructed primarily of red brick with grey brick headers, although the north-east end and the three bays adjacent to it are of rubble construction with red brick dressings. Ashlar rusticated quoins are also present. The roof is a Mansard style covered in slate.

Most of the facades have six windows each, featuring two-light casements with cambered segmental brick arches. Double hatches are positioned towards the centre of the ground and first floors. The north-east end has three windows, the central one on the second floor being smaller and raised under the eaves.

An ashlar-lined millstream runs along the north-west side, though the mill wheel itself is no longer present. This side features only three windows in the rubble section, two of which are blocked, with one casement remaining.
