Description

87 Castle Road is a building dating from around 1830. It is two storeys high and constructed of chequer brick with red brick dressings. The roof is low-pitched and hipped, covered with slate, and features projecting eaves. The building has two windows, one of which is located in a set-back entrance bay. The windows are recessed, made of sash style with glazing bars, and have block sills with rubbed brick flat arches above them. The entrance door is recessed and consists of four fielded panels, two of which are glazed, and it also has a flat brick arch above.
