Description
14 Crocker Street is a building dating from around 1800. It is two storeys tall and constructed of chequer brick, topped with an old tile gable end roof. The building features a wood eaves cornice above red brick headers and a rendered plinth.
On the upper floor, there are two sash windows without glazing bars, framed with moulded flush wood. The ground floor has a large 19th-century tripartite sash window, also without glazing bars, featuring plain strips, a moulded flush wood architrave, a block sill, and a flat rubbed brick arch with a wooden keystone.
The entrance is a wide recessed door made up of six fielded panels, with panelled reveals and soffit. The doorcase is notable for its panelled pilasters and a bracketed cornice hood, which also has a panelled soffit.
