Description

25 South Street is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high. It features a distinctive red and blue chequer brick design set on a stone plinth. There is a three-course band above the ground floor and a brick block eaves cornice. The roof is tiled and has a gable end brick chimney. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, while the ground floor has three segmental-headed openings, which include two doors (one of which is blocked and now serves as a window) and a window. The building also has a ledged door and a gable-lit attic with a slate-hung gable on the right. This property is included for its group value.
