Description

South Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on South Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of painted brick with a projecting plinth. The roof is slate, hipped to the left, and features flat eaves. There are three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all of which are glazing bar sashes. The central door has six panels, with the upper two being glazed. To the left of the door is a footscraper, and there is a dog-gate in front of the cottage.
