Description
The stable block to No 27 (The Manor House) and the garden wall to the south date from the mid-19th century. The stable block is two storeys high, constructed of rubble with brick bands and quoins, and features an ashlar plinth. It has a hipped slate roof and a central slightly projecting gabled bay with a small upper window. The stable is connected to the house by a later red brick lean-to and faces away from the street. The east front has a gabled centre and two wide side entrances. The garden wall, which is approximately 8 feet high and likely built in the early 19th century, is made of stone and brick in bands with a stone coping, extending about 100 yards long.
