Description

Nos 21 and 23 on South Street are late 17th century to early 18th century buildings that have been altered. They are two storeys tall and constructed from Chilmark ashlar with flint panels and galletting. The eaves have been raised in brick, and the roof is tiled with a raised verge on the right side. A central chimney made of yellow brick is present. The first floor features two windows, which are two-light glazing bar casements, while the ground floor has two windows as well: a late glazed sash on the left and a tripartite glazing bar sash on the right. The outer doors are of the four flush panel type.
