Description

23 West Bars is a building dating from around 1830. It features a red brick facade with a plain stone band, moulded stone eaves, and a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars and engraved lintels. The central entrance has a moulded wood doorcase that is set back within a moulded stone architrave, flanked by inset half-round fluted wood pilasters. The door itself consists of six fielded panels and has a segmental fanlight above.
