Description
Nos 69 and 71 on Low Pavement are late 18th century to early 19th century buildings. They feature a red brick facade that is colourwashed up to the second floor sill height. The buildings have a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof with end chimneys. They stand three storeys tall and have three windows with engraved stuccoed lintels. The centre window on the second floor has a modern casement in the original sash space, but otherwise, all the windows have sashes with glazing bars remaining on the top lights and completely on the eastern first floor window. The shop front, altered in the late 19th century to early 20th century, is now divided into two shops.
