Description
Nos 61, 61A, 61B, 63, and 63C on Low Pavement date from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick, with a facade that has been painted white, featuring an eaves cornice and a tiled roof. There are end chimneys and the buildings rise to three storeys. The front has five sash windows, with the three western windows closely spaced and all except two unbarred first-floor windows having glazing bars, generally with stuccoed lintels. The ground floor includes a modern shop front on the western side, followed by a segmental arched carriageway entrance, and another modern shop front on the eastern side. There is an older rear wing with a red brick and stone slab roof, which has an end chimney and is two storeys tall.
