Description

87 New Square is a late 18th century building with a red brick facade. It features a modillion eaves cornice, a coped brick blocking course, and sill bands, extending over three storeys. The building has two canted brick bays, each with three full-height sash windows. A single window is located centrally between the bays. All the sash windows are unbarred. The second-floor centre window is distinguished by an architrave and a triple keystone. The first-floor centre window also has an architrave, a triple keystone, and a pediment. A central front door is accessed by steps and features a round arched fanlight, pilasters, a triglyph frieze, and a pediment.
