Description
Nos 109 and 111 on Carisbrooke Road are a pair of houses built around 1840. They are three storeys high, constructed of red brick with grey headers and red brick dressings, topped with a gable end slate roof. Each house features one recessed sash window with block sills and flat brick arches. The first floor has rectangular wooden bay windows with three lights, a frieze, a moulded cornice, flat roofs, and panelled aprons. The entrances are paired, with recessed doors that have five fielded panels, two of which are glazed, and elliptical fanlights above, all framed by red brick arches. These houses are part of a group that includes Nos 109 to 119 (odd) and Nos 123 and 125.
