Description

Nos 11, 13, and 17 on Castle Road are buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are three storeys tall and have a cement-rendered exterior. Nos 11 and 13 feature gable end slate roofs, while No 17 has an old tile mansard roof. Each building has one window and dormers, with flush moulded wood architraves. The doorcases are recessed and reeded, with blind semi-circular fanlights at No 17. It is noted that No 15 was destroyed by fire. These buildings, along with Nos 1 to 13 (odd), Nos 17 to 27 (odd), and Nos 101 to 105 (odd) on Carisbrooke Road, form a group.
