Description

Castle Road Post Office, located at 7 and 9 Castle Road, is a building from the 18th or 19th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed of brick with a gable end slate roof. The façade features two windows and recessed doors topped with semi-circular fanlights. Notably, number 7 has a small cast iron balcony. This post office is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 13 (odd), Nos 17 to 27 (odd), and Nos 101 to 105 (odd) on Carisbrooke Road.
