Description
The stable, cowhouse, and implement shed at Pen-isha-plwydd Farm is a Grade II listed building constructed from coursed red sandstone rubble with Welsh slate roofs. The structure consists of three parts arranged in an L-shape, facing the farmyard. On the left is the implement shed, which features a timber front and double doors. Next is the cow shed, whose front is concealed by a lean-to shed, while both have plain stone rear walls. The stable is two storeys high, with a hay loft above and a stable and tack room below. It has a door and two plain windows, including one 6 over 6 sash on the ground floor, with a taking-in door above. The rear wall is plain. The roofs of the three buildings are supported by sawn principal rafter trusses, and there are no notable special features.
