Description
The Farmyard Range at Gales-fawr is a collection of farm buildings, likely constructed at different times, located along the north side of the Gales-fawr farmyard. The main structure is a long cowshed built from local slatey stone, which has been extensively repaired with brickwork. The slate roof is designed to follow the slope of the site. The cowshed features a heck door on the left side between windows, a wide opening near the center with a lintel, and a small window to its left, along with a door and window on the right.
Adjacent to the cowshed on the left is a nearly symmetrical lofted stable, constructed from similar materials, which has a boarded door situated between windows. All openings in this stable have timber lintels, and there is a hatch positioned centrally above against the eaves.
To the left of the stable, there are a pair of sheds with tô-brat slating and a dilapidated lean-to. On the right side, there are two stone lean-to sheds with slate roofs at the front.
