Description
The cowshed at Glanyrannell is a long, single-storey structure built from rubble, topped with a slate roof and slated barges. It features five boarded doors with cambered stone voussoired heads, and a small two-pane window located between the two left doors. On the left side, there is a small 20th-century brick lean-to.
The left end of the cowshed has brick and stone steps leading to a boarded loft door, which also has a cambered stone voussoired head. The right end includes a small 20th-century brick lean-to on the left, with a boarded door to the right that has a timber lintel. There is a parallel lower short rubble range of calf-cots set back to the right, which has a modified front.
At the rear, there is a rubble wing with a slate roof. The east elevation features a single-light latticed casement window on the left with a cambered brick head, and to the right, there is a partially blocked door with a similar cambered head.
