Description
This is a single span rubble bridge over the River Annell, featuring an elliptical arch made of dressed stone voussoirs. Above the arch, there is a projecting drip made of thin stones, and on either side of the arch, there are paired rough tapering buttresses. The bridge has a flat parapet with coping made of squared stones, and both sides of the bridge are similar in design. A datestone that was located on the inside of the south wall has been removed. The parapet walls extend on both sides for some distance, functioning as retaining walls.
