Description
The Barn Range at Glanyrannell is a 19th-century structure built from rubble with a slate roof and slated barges. It features a high, renewed planked door on the left with a concrete lintel. There are long loops on each side of the building and a pair of cart entries on the right, which have elliptical heads with stone voussoirs and paired planked doors. The right end includes stone steps leading to a boarded loft door, which has a cambered stone voussoired head, while the left gable also has a loop.
At the rear, there is a later rubble lean-to on the left that incorporates a double W.C. at the left end. To the right, a 20th-century corrugated-iron shed obscures a low barn door with a cambered stone voussoired head and paired planked doors, with loops on each side.
Inside, the barn has a collar-beam roof and a loft over the cart-house.
