Description

The former agricultural range located to the south-west of Dyffryn is a one and a half storey, five-bay structure built from rubble. It features a slate roof and wooden bargeboards. The leftmost bay is a later addition that serves as a cart-house, with a door that rises to the soffit, framed by dressed stone quoins and 20th-century doors. To the right, there are two doors leading to the former cowshed, which also has dressed stone voussoirs and quoins, along with a divided boarded door to the right. Above and between these doors is a semi-circular window with dressed stone voussoirs and a stone sill.

There is a similar doorway to the stable on the right, which has a boarded door and a loop window above to the left. A similar doorway leads downslope to the right, accessing a lower stable. The left end of the building features a boarded door to the loft with a cambered stone voussoired head, and there are loop windows below on each side. The right end has a window in the gable and another on the ground floor to the left; the former has dressed stone quoins and voussoirs, while the latter has a concrete lintel. The slate sills are missing glazing.

At the rear, there is a central doorway whose lintel has failed, resulting in partial collapse. To the right of this doorway is a planked door with a cambered brick head. There is a rubble-built outshut above to the right. The building includes a loft over the lower stable, but the loft over the cart-house has been removed. Stone walls separate the cowshed from each stable, and the roof features collar beam construction with bolted trusses.
