Description

This is an early 19th-century bridge over a tributary of the Eller Beck. It is constructed from coursed, squared sandstone featuring herring-bone tooled ashlar voussoirs and buttresses. The bridge has a simple design with a single arch that has not been widened. The segmental, almost semi-circular arch is made of a single ring of ashlar voussoirs. Plain buttresses flank the arch, rising to create piers within the low, plain parapets that have rough, plain coping stones.
