Description
Dolaucothi Home Farm is a building with smooth-rendered elevations and a slate roof, featuring a plaster pediment moulding on the left gable, which is a 20th-century detail marking the junction with a demolished house. There is a rendered ridge chimney-stack located to the right of the centre and a corbelled rendered bell-cote on the right gable, topped with an ogee head that rises to a ball-finial. The two-storey facade has three bays with 12-pane sash windows, all hornless except for the left window on the ground floor. The building has a plinth and at the rear, there is a full-length later single-storey lean-to with three 12-pane hornless sash windows above on the first floor. The left end has two ground-floor 12-pane horned sashes and a 20th-century gabled porch to the left. To the right, there is a single-storey extension with a 12-pane horned sash and a lean-to porch to the left that has a boarded door. Above, there is a 12-pane hornless sash window in the gable.
Inside, the ground-floor rooms feature six-panel doors and there is an enclosed quarter-turn stick-baluster stair.
