Description
Birch Villa is a two-storey building featuring rendered elevations and a hipped slate roof with boarded eaves and stock brick chimney stacks. The front has three windows, rusticated quoins, and a plinth, along with stone lintels and cornices above the ground floor windows. There is a central blind roundel, 12-pane sash windows on the first floor, and tripartite small pane sashes below. The entrance consists of panelled double doors flanked by side lights and an over-light. To the right, there are two windows with similar detailing, including 12 and 16-pane sashes and a small pane French window. The left side of the building features three storeys with similar details and camber-headed windows on the lower floor. At the rear, a two-window cross range projects, featuring a hooded doorway and similar detailing, with twin gables and an attached rubble outhouse and greenhouse, as well as a red brick lean-to in the centre.
Inside, the building retains a contemporary fireplace and doors. The staircase has 'S' shaped tread ends and a turned newel.
